How to open my book

Your book arrives as a protected PDF (Adobe DRM, through EditionGuard). It opens in the free Adobe Digital Editions app on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows.

1. Install Adobe Digital Editions

The app is free:

  • iPhone and iPad: App Store
  • Android: Google Play
  • Mac and Windows: adobe.com (search for “Adobe Digital Editions”)

2. Sign in with an Adobe ID

In the app, authorise it with a free Adobe ID. This is optional on a single device, but it is what lets you read the same book on your other devices.

3. Open the link in your email

On the device where the app is installed, open the download link from the delivery email. A small file ending in .acsm is downloaded; open it with Adobe Digital Editions, and the app downloads your book.

Reading on several devices

Authorise Adobe Digital Editions with the same Adobe ID on each device, then open the same link there. Adobe allows a limited number of devices for each Adobe ID (usually up to six).

What is not possible

The book opens only for you, the buyer. Printing, copying text and sending the book to others are not possible.

If something does not work

Write to [email protected] from the email address you used in your order, and say which device you are using. If the link no longer works, a new one is sent.

2 Accept the terms

  1. The seller is Ehsan Hajialiasgar. Books are paid for by Zelle inside the US, or by bank transfer with Wise from outside the US; there are no card payments.
  2. After paying, you send the short order form. Once your payment is confirmed, the link to your book is emailed to you within 24 hours.
  3. You buy a personal, non-transferable licence to read the book, not ownership of the file. The book is delivered as a protected PDF (Adobe DRM, through EditionGuard) and opens only in the free Adobe Digital Editions app (iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows), and only for you.
  4. Printing, copying and sending the book to others are not possible. Re-publishing or getting around the protection is not permitted and ends the licence.
  5. Payments by Zelle and bank transfer are final. Refunds are made only for a faulty file, a duplicate payment or a link that never arrived, on written request to [email protected] within 14 days, by the same payment method.
  6. Prices are in US dollars.
