Who is responsible

Ehsan Hajialiasgar, San Jose, California, USA, is responsible for this website and for the personal information described here.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies, shows no advertising, uses no tracking pixels and has no user accounts.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising.

Information you send me

When you use the contact form, send a lesson booking request or place a book order, you give me your name, your email address and what you write. A booking request also includes the lesson, its length and format, and the time you propose. A book order also includes the book, the payment method and the name of the account holder who sent the money, so that I can match your payment.

These forms are delivered to my mailbox by Web3Forms, a service that forwards form messages by email. They are not stored on this website. Email sent to addresses at ehsanhajialiasgar.com is forwarded to my mailbox by Cloudflare Email Routing.

I keep these messages for as long as I need them to reply to you, to arrange and teach your lessons, and to keep the records the law requires.

Payments

Books and lessons are paid for by Zelle through your own bank inside the US, or by bank transfer with Wise from outside the US. There are no card payments on this website, and no bank account numbers are collected here.

Your bank, Zelle and Wise process your payment under their own privacy policies. I see the payment itself, with the sender’s name and the amount.

Delivering books

To deliver a book, your email address is used to send you the link and to give you access to the book in the reading app. The book is protected by digital rights management (DRM), so it opens only on your device.

Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. I do not use this data to identify visitors.

Visitor statistics are collected with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you; only page views, country and device type are recorded anonymously.

Links to other sites

Pages on this site link to other services, such as Wise, Zoom, Google Meet and LinkedIn. When you visit them, their own privacy policies apply.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. I will reply within 45 days, or sooner if the law where you live requires it.

Depending on where you live, for example in California, you may have further rights under local law. I will honour them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. Lessons for children are arranged with a parent or guardian, who sends the booking request.

Security

The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and it collects only the information listed above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
